Aims: This course is intended for students who would like to start learning how to converse in Arabic or for others already familiar with the language to improve their conversational skills. Course structure: Students are presented with situations where they might need to communicate verbally in Arabic. These role-plays may include everyday communication, such as introducing oneself to a group of people, making new friends, asking questions, how to ask directions, reading and discussing texts and other more specific situations. Such exercises are either based on related text books or prepared by the group tutor. Course duration and time table of lessons: Courses generally last from eight to nine months. Students attend two-hour sessions once a week. Time table of lessons is from Monday to Friday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm or from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. |
