Aims: 

 

This course is intended for foreigners who are not familiar with this semitic language and would like to learn it to widen their opportunities. 

 

Course structure: 

 

This course is based on the instruction of basic grammar in the Maltese language. Students are first introduced to the basics of Maltese in writing, reading and pronunciation. Then they are gradually taught basic vocabulary and basic grammar. Gradually these lessons would include instruction in vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing and listening tasks as well as conversation. Such lessons may lead one to sit for O level Maltese. 

 

Course duration and timetable: 

 

One may choose from a short crash course of minimum three weeks to learn basic Maltese to a longer course which may also lead to O level. Lessons and timetable may be adjusted according to the course chosen.
